About

The appreciation for finding coins in Greenwich began over four years ago for all four of us. We enjoy walking outdoors as part of our morning exercise and started noticing the coins we would find on walks together, or apart. The randomness and surprise of finding these shiny objects of value fascinated us. We started documenting our finds by photographing them in their setting, as found. We forwarded the pictures among ourselves to show off the finds. We soon began appreciating the images for what they captured, what they said, and what was left unsaid. We continue learning about the Presidents and, at times, revisit our own histories based on the dates of the coins, to this day. The surprise and miracle of finding a symbol of energy, faith, history, survival, and, beauty has made this an organic and enjoyable art form throughout the years.
